(Ina's Post) Hey! Say! JUMP's "Ride With Me" MV and Song Review

I WILL NOT "RIDE" WITH YOU >.<

To be truly honest here I wasn't a huge fan of the song or the MV. Also that line as shown in the gif has such bad grammar that it makes me feel uncomfortable. Anyone can take that line and put it in perverted context. JE you most likely have plenty of money in the company. Please invest it in the English department, or hell have Keito go over the lyrics!

*takes a deep breath* Now that I got that off my chest I'll talk about the MV and the song.

Let's start at the beginning shall we? When I first saw this set it reminded me of SM Entertainment's Box sets that they use in a vast majority of their groups' MV. Although I wasn't a big fan of COAMH I did enjoy the MV for it's colorfulness and it being unique in that sense. All of the members of JUMP were wearing white outfits that I think suited the colorless set.

The next set shown was this sort of set that I'm calling the Rainbow Set. I liked the change of color and some of the outfits that the guys wore in this set. It brought some life into the MV. Like Airi I really liked Yuto's red jacket. But personally I liked Yuya's outfit the best in this set. He just looks so perfect and amazing in this part of the MV *looks down at gif* The outfit suits him very well.

Now what starts in the Rainbow Set? THE RAPPING! *covers my ears* Oh God I literally paused the video when I heard Daiki rapping. As much as I love him, being my ultimate bias and all, but I NEVER WANT TO HEAR HIM, YUTO, OR CHINEN RAPPING EVER AGAIN!! Hikaru, Keito, and Kota did a decent job rapping but in all honestly Hikaru should be the only one in JUMP rapping.

Right now I would like to talk to JUMP's hair stylist..

Do you guys not like Chinen or something? This hair style is horrendous. I understand their try for the sexy appeal but it doesn't work here at all. In fact the MV was no way near sexy ._.

Now onto the next set! Which I like to call the 007 Set!

All of the guys were wearing some pretty nice suits and tuxes and I do approve on that. Around this part of the MV was our first dose of the song's Engrish and it was cringe worthy.

Later in the MV though I did scream in happiness and joy. KEI AND KEITO HAD LINES!! PRAISE THE LORD AND ALL THAT JAZZ~!! Although they were small lines I was ecstatic. I never like JE's line distributions. They are always biased and unfair. But then I became sad again because Yuya was hardly shown in the MV. All I want is fairly equal line distributions and screen time, is that too much to ask?

Now the choreography of the song was a major disappointment to me. We all know that these guys can really dance but it was seriously dumbed down. It reminds me of when the Wonder Girls' MV for Love Me Like Money. JE you can do better than this ><

Well that's it for my review. Have a good day!
