The Adventure Continues!
Now today's MV to review is Infinite's Paradise! Yea I've been having some Infinite feels lately (*whacked x1000*). Now I have to say Infinite is in one of my top Kpop groups, especially when it comes to dancing. Man these guys can dance! Well I can't really talk about that for the MV since there isn't really that much dancing at all. However, this MV has a pretty interesting story that can be overlooked. Also, 2011 was I think Infinite's busiest year. They released their first studio album, promoted many songs, and even made their debut in Japan! But now to get back on track with this review!
At the beginning of the MV we see this girl sitting on a kitchen counter looking all depressed and sad. I was curious to wonder why the girl was sad but then I'm caught off guard when the camera moves to reveal L on the ground! Okay does the girl know you're there possibly being a pervert, looking up her skirt?? Also why the hell are you laying on the floor L? Do you have any idea how dirty that floor probably is?!
As the girl wanders through the house we notice the leader Sunggyu on the ground as well. Okay... does this girl have some sort of sight problem not being able to notice the Infinite members around her house? Suddenly it changes to Sunggyu and the maknae of the group Sungjong on some sort of bus or train. It looked very old and very creepy.
When the chorus begins we see all of the members in very nice suits in what seems to be some shady warehouse with smoke all around. I looked up the translated lyrics of the song and then it hit me.
The first line of the chorus is, "If only you're here this is paradise." That would mean in the MV that all of the members of Infinite are dead and all have some sort of special connection with the girl. For that sole reason alone they all cannot move on to the afterlife fully. They are forever stuck on Earth to watch other girl until they decide to move on to Paradise/Heaven.
As the MV nears the end the girl finally leaves her house on her own. Seeing her having a will to live the boys see that she doesn't need them watching over her anymore and they move on to Paradise.
I really like the song and the live performances of the song are amazing. If you'd like to see the amazing choreography then watch the video below.
Though Woohyun and Sunggyu have a bit more lines since they're the main vocalists the line distribution was fairly equal. The suits that they wore in the MV were absolutely amazing and I can't wait for the next comeback.
I hope you guys liked this edition of Nostalgia Tuesdays, I'll see you in a week!

P.S. : I might to a review of Eric Nam's newest MV this week if I have time!
