(Ina's Post) NOSTALGIA TUESDAY #1 : Hey! Say! JUMP -「ありがとう」~世界のどこにいても~

Let's Go Back to 2010 Shall We~?

(I don't own this video as you all must already know ^^;)
This is my first time trying to upload a video on here so I hope it turns out good!!

Now I wanted to start with this specific MV because it was the song that truly got me into Jpop and showed me the glorious light to the beauty of Jpop~! So now let's get this review started!!

Now as the MV opens it shows the ten members (at that time T^T) walking in their outfits. For some reason this reminds me of a marching band outfit so I shall call it that throughout the video. Don't get me wrong I seriously love these outfits but it's just what it reminds me of.

Not even a few seconds later they change into this some type of futuristic attire which I think is pretty cool, especially when I first watched this MV. Now as you may have noticed by now that there are two types of outfits. One is for Hey! Say! BEST (Kota, Hikaru, Kei, Daiki, and Yuya) and the other for Hey! Say! 7 (Ryosuke, Yuri, Keito, Yuto, and Ryutaro). I really thought that was interesting and cool at the same time.

The choreography in my opinion was very interesting and creative. It didn't bore me at all like some do. It wasn't fully synchronized which I personally like a lot better. The screen time was fairly equal but the solo lines wasn't fully but at least it wasn't a full Yamada Ryosuke show.

The set used throughout the MV makes it look like they're in a futuristic ship which brings out the sci-fi nerd in me so I give it a thumbs up.

Since I'm still into Jpop now that must mean that I liked the song. The instrumentals first off were just absolutely phenomenal in my opinion. I like the synthizy and electronic (can't think of another word to describe it ^^;)  feel to it. Also I thought it was really cool how they used all of the different ways to say "thank you" throughout the song. But that part where Daiki says thanks in English? Minus first seeing him in the beginning of the MV made him my ultimate bias EVER!
*DIES FROM THE NOSTALGIC FEELS*
This MV like I mentioned many times was the stepping stone for me to enter the wonderful world of Jpop. This song also has helped me through some very difficult times so it means a lot to me thus having a ton of sentimental value.

Well that's all for my first Nostalgia Tuesday see you all next week ^^ <3
